- SCANNED ECM AND FOUND DTC P0118 FOR COOLANT SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT HIGH. ISSUE IS INTERMITTENT SENSOR IS CURRENTLY READING CORRECTLY. INSPECTED HARNESS AND FOUND NO ISSUES. RECOMMEND REPLACE ECT SENSOR. CHECKED COOLANT LEVEL AND FOUND IT WAS LOW. DURING FILLING AND BLEEDING COOLANT KEPT BACKING UP AND OVERFLOWING. INSTALLED PRESSURE GAUGE AND CONFIRMED COOLING SYSTEM IS OVER PRESSURIZING DUE TO BYPASS IN CYLINDER HEAD GASKET OR CRACK IN CYLINDER HEAD ITSELF. ALSO FELT HARD MISFIRE WHEN MOVING VEHICLE REVIEWED LIVE DATA AND FOUND MISFIRE IS IGNITION RELATED AND ISOLATED TO CYLINDER #2. RECOMMEND NEW SPARK PLUGS AND #2 COIL. CUSTOMER REQUEST REPLACED ONE IGNITION COIL, SPARK PLUGS AND COOLANT TEMP SENSOR AT THIS TIME.
- SPARK PLUGS – Remove and Replace – All Applicable Models
- COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR – Remove and Replace – All Applicable Models
- CHECKED AND TOPPED FLUIDS TIRE PRESSURE = 32 PSI
